Republic Bank has partnered with Zelle® to help you send money faster by finding your friends and family from your phone contacts who are already enrolled in Zelle®.


How to Sync Your Zelle® Ready Contacts


1. Log into your Republic Bank Mobile app* and tap Move Money, "Send Money with Zelle®".


2. The Republic Bank Mobile app will prompt you to access your contacts at the time that you enroll for Zelle®. Grant permission to allow the Republic Bank app to scan your phone contact list to look for friends and family already enrolled in Zelle®. If you did not allow access for Zelle® to find and sync your contacts at the time of enrollment, you can still share your contacts by selecting "Add or Select a Recipient" on your Zelle® home page.


Zelle® will then ask you how you would like to share your contacts.  If you share all of your contacts in your phone list, Zelle® will add friends and family who are already enrolled in Zelle®. 


Select "Share all Contacts", then select "Continue" to sync your phone list.


As an alternative, you can select individual contacts from your phone list to import into Zelle®. 



3. Look for the purple 'Z'. Once your phone list is synced with the app, you will see a purple Zelle® icon next to your friends and family who are already enrolled in Zelle®, letting you know you can begin sending or requesting money instantly. 


If you don't see the 'Z' logo, don't worry. You can still send money to your friend or family member. If your are sending money using their email address or U.S. mobile number, they simply have to enroll in order to get it.


When you're ready to send or request money with Zelle® simply select "Send"  or "Request" and select your Zelle® Ready Contact.
