Fraud Alerts

We’ve always monitored your debit and credit cards for fraud, but now we can quickly text you if we see something suspicious. Republic Bank’s Fraud Alerts System will notify you through SMS Text of suspicious debit or credit card activity, so you can react quickly.  And don’t worry – if you miss our text, we’ll also try to call you or send you an email.

No need to sign up, you just need to know how to respond - if you have a debit card at Republic Bank you are automatically opted in to receive Fraud Alerts.

Republic Bank Fraud Alerts will come from short code 45-45-45 and never from a standard phone number. You will only need a “Yes” or “No” answer to verify activity. If you receive what appears to be a fraud alert from a standard phone number and is asking for your username or password, contact us immediately – do not respond.
