1. For your security, it's important to visit our "Add Travel Notice" form in your online account More Services menu to let us know your travel plans. A representative will note your travel dates and destination.


2. To minimize the concern and risk to our clients, Republic Bank has restricted certain countries and merchants due to possible fraudulent activity/scams with our cards. If an area is restricted then you may not use your card for any transactions in that region. 


If you plan to make a purchase or travel in another region outside of the U.S., contact us to see if a country you may be visiting or purchasing from might be restricted. 


3. Representatives from our Fraud Detection service may call you if there has been any suspicious activity with your account. It is important we have the best phone number on file to reach you in the event that you have a transaction blocked - in most cases, your mobile number. If you would like to update your contact info, you may do so one of the following ways:

 

4. Carry an alternate form of payment as backup, such as a Republic Bank Credit Card, when you travel.
